For the past 8 years the Texas Shredder Classic
has set the standard for Excellence and Professionalism in Drug-Free
Bodybuilding. With the addition of the WNBF Pro American Championships in 2002,
the Pro American/Texas Shredder Classic Bodybuilding and Figure Championships
has been the biggest and best-run truly drug-tested show south of New York
City. For the last 4 years our contest has had over 100 entries, and was
attended by approximately 500 prejudging and over 800 night show bodybuilding
fans.
By
sponsoring the competition, you and your company will be showing your commitment
to athletes who are legitimately drug-free. Every WNBF athlete will be
drug-tested by both polygraph and urinalysis. Every INBF athlete will be
polygraphed, and the winners will also be tested by urinalysis. Our athletes
are required to be at least 7 years free of any bodybuilding drugs (including
steriods, HGH, diuretics, ephedrine and pro hormones) in order to compete in
WNBF/INBF contests.
Because of
the high quality of our event, the Pro American/Shredder Classic has grown each
year, with athletes and fans attending from all over the United States and
Canada. Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Magazine (circulated worldwide) has
committed to at least 3 full pages of coverage for the Pro American
Championships and 2 full pages for the INBF American/Texas Shredder Classic in
the November 2006 issue. There will also be ads and/or coverage in the Austin
Chronicle and South Texas Health and Fitness Magazine. We’ve also been able to
get some of our champion athletes on the Award-winning, Dudley and Bob Morning
Radio Show on KLBJ-FM in advance of the contest.
In addition
to displaying some of the finest physiques in North America, the American
Championships/Texas Shredder Classic promotes the importance of the drug-free
lifestyle. It shows everyone that it is possible to build strong healthy bodies
without the use of dangerous drugs. In order to promote healthy living and the
